Church and Baby Shower 3-27-2011

Today I watched the 3 and 4 year old class during church service. There were only 10 of them but it still got a bit crazy at times. But with the help of crayons, music, and books, they were kept under control. haha After church I headed over to the Witherspoon's house to babysit for Mrs. Witherspoon's baby shower. She is due in May with another girl. (Aww!) So today I had 4 kids I was watching for 5 hours. It was intresting to say the least. But when I am able to pay off my car..it will be worth it!

RipStik! 3-26-2011

This afternoon I went to the park with Annikah and she taught me to ride a RipStik! (see picture) I fell at least 50 times, but in the end, I finally got it! I think..lol. It was so much fun hanging out with my best friend! We also shot a few hoops at the park before heading back to her house so I could pick up Robert (who was hanging with Luke) and head home. While we were waiting for Robert to come out I was able to hang out with Annikah a bit more and we shot a few more hoops in the driveway. Such a fun time with an amazing friend! :)

Dodgeball!! 2-25-2011

Tonight was dodgeball night at church. It was so much fun! We played dogeball (of course) and had pizza and a lot of the Thunder people even came too! I really do love my church! Such and wonder friends! Its going to be sad not being able to go next fall as I am graduating! But so is life. Onward and onward it goes, never stopping for a second. So onward I go, into the future unknown!

Work and Movie with Annikah! 3-24-2011

Today I had work from 9-6. But after work..I went to go see a movie with Annikah! We watched Red Riding Hood. It was a very good movie! Not as astounding as Lord of the Rings or something...but a wonderful movie to be sure! Who is the big bad wolf? I bet you won't be able to guess. ;) The ending has such a big twist! Believe the legend, beware the wolf!

Witherspoons 3-23-2011

Today I started my first day as a nanny. The Witherspoons have 2 kids. A 3 year old girl name Sydney who goes to school in Dallas 5 days a week, and a 19 month old named Legend. They also have 2 step children who come over every other weekend. Legend is the only one I was taking care of today..and boy is he busy! He wanted to go in and out and in and back outside again about 15 times today! lol :) But he is a cute little guy who just wants to have fun. They also have ducklings who just hatched about a week ago that Legend (and I) had fun playing with! By the end of the day, after chasing after Legend, and cleaning the house while he was napping, I was worn out. I am excited to have kids of my own someday, but I'm glad I have a little while to still be a "kid" myself before that happens.

Off To The Zoo 3-22-2011

Today was a TON of fun! I went with my mom and 3 youngest siblings to the zoo! They had a new area of the zoo open called Giants of the Savanna! We got to see lions, zebras, and go face to face with the giraffes! We also got to see penguins swim around and let some birds sit on our arms, shoulders, and head as we fed them! :)

Back to Work.. 3-21-2011

Yep, after a week off of work just hanging out with my friends all day, It was not very plesent gitting up this morning knowning I had work today. But I really do like my job. And Mark was sure happy to see me. :) I really do have the best manager ever! I start a new job as a nanny this week, but I don't think I would ever want to stop working at Store More as long as Mark is manager. (Within reason, if I had to because of college or moving or something then I would go of course.) Anyway, I hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

We Really Will Make It Home... 3-20-2011

So we ended up stopping for the night at a hotel around 2am this morning. After a few hours of much needed rest, we were back on the road! We got home around 1:30pm and started unpacking the van. What a great trip we had full of fun memories and time spent with friends. I wish we could have stayed longer...oh well, time to get back to reality. I have work tomorrow :P

Awards and Home Bound 3-19-2011

Today the last Varsity Girls and Varsity Guys games were played. It was very emotional for all the seniors. These were the last games they will ever play on the Thunder team. After Nationals, there will be no more practices or games for them. After the last game was played we all headed over to the awards ceromoney. All of the Thunder teams did very well! Robert even got an All-American award! :) I am so proud of all of my siblings for sticking it out, even when it was hard and they didn't want to this basketball season! We finally left the ceromoney at around 6pm...Its an 8+ hour drive home. This, will be intresting...

More and more b-ball games. 3-18-2011

Today I got up and went with Sarah-Beth and her family to 5 different games...5! And 2 of them Thunder wasn't even playing in. But I enjoyed it all the same. We also went to lunch at Ryans which was amazing! The very last game we went to was the Varsity Boy's game. It was running really late so it didn't even start until about 10pm. And halfway through the game the score board quit working so we all had to go over to the next court and keep going from there. It was about 11:30 before the game finally ended and we were all so tired! But I don't think we have ever cheered that much at any of the other games this week. (Probably because we were so sleepy we were getting goofy lol). It was a wonderful day! Tomorrow the last games shall be played and awards will be given! (I must add pictures later, I am sorry for not being able to post until now..over a week later. I am trying to play catch-up today [3-28] and will add pictures when I have my camera)

More Games! 3-17-2011

Today we had more games! Surprising right. ;) we won some...we lost some.. But all the players played there best and that is what counts. And it was so fun cheering them on!

I have officially decided that I probably won't be able to use my laptop until we get home. Which means the next few days I will be posting blogs using my itouch. But I won't be able to add the pics until later. :P

Milkshakes and All-Star games. 3-17-2011

Today was ok I suppose. I mostly just hung out in the hotel..but I was able to go to the all-star games tonight. I also got a milkshake during happy hour at steak-n-shake which was very yummy.

Games Games and more Games! 3-15-11

It is now 1:34 am! So really its the 16th but I am still counting it as the 15th as I have not gone to sleep/ the sun hasn't come up yet. Tehehe :)

Anyway...there were so many games today! I think went to 5 games today. But it was a lot of fun! And we have lots of games again tomorrow..and the next day..and the next...and the next. ^.^ Off to bed now! Good Night All!

Hotel Exploring, Walmart, and Tidbits! 3-14-2011

Today was the first day of the National Tournaments. The only 2 games today were late in the day though. So we had plenty of time for exploring the hotel! We had waffles for breakfast that the hotel provided. Then we went to the pool, and the workout center (Well, I went to the workout center as I forgot my swimsuit and the kids went with mom to the pool.)

After that mom and I went to walmart to get some food for the hotel room. Now, I have seen pineapple, pineapple slices, and pineapple chunks and diced pineapple. But never before had I seen pineapple tidbits! Very random... ^.^ Off to bed now!

Church and a Long Trip 3-13-2011

So...Today we went to church in the morning and it was fellowship Sunday! We had an amazing meal and then it was time to hit the road! We had 8 hours ahead of us. 7 people in a small minivan going 8 hours to Springfield Missouri...was interesting for sure. It was a very long and crazy drive! But very fun.

When we stopped for dinner at Wendy's, after we ate, Robert bought the younger boys small frosties. I was going to go get my wallet out of the car and get Judy and I a frosty but my mom wanted to save the time and so she gave Judy and I the money to get a Jr. Frosty...we both bought a "Jr. Frostie"...which ended up being about half the size of a "small Frostie"

We left the house at 3pm and got to the hotel around 11pm. We couldn't get the internet to work so I was not able to post last night.

Packing, Shopping, and more Packing 3-12-2011

Well I am posting this blog from my itouch because my laptop is all packed up. I am so sleepy right now I can't figure put how to post a picture on this thing. Lol.

Well, today I got up and helped Judy pack for nationals then followed mom and Robert around shopping and I just finished packing for myself. We leave for Nationals tomorrow after church!!

Work, and a Pink Car

So today during my lunch break at work I drove over to the sonic because I was SO THIRSTY!! So I was sitting there waiting for my water with pineapple (love this from sonic!) And I look over and there is this pink car/truck thing. And when I say pink I mean PINK! It was kinda cool but not a paint job my car will ever be getting...lol.

Anyway, after work it was off home to hang out with the family and start getting ready to leave for Nationals!!

Work, Annikah, And Exhaustion 3-10-2011

So today was really..really long! I got up and went to work all day then picked up Annikah, Mark, and Arianah(sp?) to come over to my house. Annikah and I took a few pics outside even though it was dark cause she brought her new camera! Its so cool! I wants one! lol :) Anyway... After they went home I spent some time with my Nana because she was over at the house as well. I stayed up talking with her until about midnight so by the time I thought about the blog I needed to write for the day...I was so so tired I couldn't even think straight. So off I went to bed!

Gym, Babysitting, B-ball, and Youth 3-9-2011

So today I got up early again to go to the gym with Annikah, then it was off to the church to do a bit of babysitting for the ladies Bible study. We painted, planted flowers, and traced their bodies with chalk before heading back inside for snack!

After that it was off to b-ball practice with my younger siblings and then back to the church for youth group.

Gym, Work, And Storm Clouds 3-8-2011

Today I got up early and went to the gym with Annikah. Had a great work out then headed off to work. I worked from 9-5:30 and after that headed straight to AWANA. On my way to AWANA I saw these really cool storm clouds moving in.

After AWANA I went to an interview to see if I might possibly like to be a nanny for this family for 3 days a week...the pay is good...but I am still not sure. Between that and my job..I would only have 1 day a week left off.

Work And Shoes 3-7-2011

So today I had work from 9am-6pm. I will be working an extra day this week because I will be gone a week for Nationals (yay!) Though I kinda wish I could be going to Mississippi with Annikah and her family that week...but Nationals will be fun too!

Anywho..After work I went by the shoe store and got these running shoes on sale because my old ones are starting to hurt when I run and there is very little support in them at all anymore (which is bad for running in) so I will use the new ones for the gym and my old ones for work and such. And yes...I admit I am a shopaholic. (spelling anyone?) But come on...they were on sale! And I have been running a lot lately at the gym! I have my mile down from 15 minutes 30 seconds to 13 minutes 34 seconds. Its getting there... :P

Church and time spent with Sister 3-6-2011

I really would have had this post up before now..but my mom turned off the internet last night before I was able to post it... :P

Well, yesterday I went to church just like any other Sunday. We sang some songs and Mr. Anderson gave a really good message.

After service my little sister Judy and I went and got a few items from the store for the goody bags I will be making the kiddos for nationals. I am so excited! Only one week until we leave! :)

Tangled and Giant Slurpee 3-5-2011

Well, I was going to have a photo but my bff Annikah hasn't sent the one we took today to me yet. So I will tell you about today in this blog, and when she gets the pic to me, I will upload it onto this post.(edited today on 3-7-2011 and added photo. Thanks Anni!:)

Today I had work from 9-3. Someone came in at 10 till 3 wanting to rent a unit. So my manager took them out to look at a few units while I had a mini freak out inside the office. I was suppose to meet up with Annikah and we were going to see a movie at 3:25. It takes all 25 minutes to get to the theater from where I work..but if this person was going to do a contract, then it would take almost 30 minutes to finish.. :P So I called Annikah and let her know I wasn't going to make it in time and we could see another showing later in the day.

Back into the office came my manager and the lady wanting to rent the unit. My amazing wonderful Manager asked me if I wanted to leave then (at 2:50) so i would be in time to pick up Annikah and see the movie. I told him that it was ok and that I could see it another time but he insisted! :) Best Manager Ever!

So off I went and I took Annikah (plus our sisters) to go see the movie Tangled. It was so cute and funny and I simply loved it! I believe that is the best movie I have seen in a while.

On our way home we saw a GIANT SLURPEE! It was out in front of a 7Eleven. We pulled over and Annikah took a pic with her I-touch and as soon as I get the picture I will post it on this blog.

Anyway, back home to spend an evening with the family. Except my mom who is at a woman's retreat right now. But she gets home tomorrow. (yay!) ♥

Crazy Dog!! 3-4-2011

So I was on my way to work this morning when I saw this dog stick its head out the back of the window. It was just chillin there like it owned the car when it started to try and clime out the window!!! It didn't get all the way out, it just stuck it's front paws out and scared me half to death! :P

Today was also the free-through contest for the Dallas Thunder and the week after next is Nationals!!! Very crazy week coming up! I must go to bed now as it is midnight and I have work (AGAIN!) tomorrow. I am trying to make up for the days I am going to be gone...but it is wearing me out!

Work and Purses 3-3-2011

So today I got up early again and went to the gym before work. Then..off to work from 9-6. (VERY SLOW AND LONG TODAY!!!)

After work I went over to this store called Clair's because I have a gift card there and I got this cool new purse bag with a matching wallet..fun stuff. Good night. Tomorrow is another long day.

Craziness and Sleepiness 3-2-2011

Yesterday was CRAZY! I say yesterday because this post is for yesterday. I was unable to post yesterday because after getting up early and meeting my BFF Annikah to go babysit at the church, then going straight to b-ball practice (where Annikah ended up about an hour later and we took some cool pictures outside including the one in this post. And where I found out I cant go to prom..*sighs*) then after that went to the store with the family, then to youth group. I left the house at 8:45am and didnt get back until close to 10pm. I left my bag that had my laptop in in in my car and I didn't realize it until I was getting in bed. I was so tired and I knew I had to be up the next morning to head to the gym before work that I fell asleep before I could even give it a second thought.

AWANA CRAZYNESS! 3-1-2011

Ok so every Tuesday night during the school year we have this Bible club called AWANA (Approved Workmen are Not Ashamed). Where kids learn about God, memorize scripture, and play games.

Our Church is growing so quickly that we don't have nearly enough leaders as we would like. But through God's help we are able to manage with what we have. Tonight we had a record high of kids attend (52!) Here are 2 of the groups (Sparks and Truth-N-Training) in one classroom tonight listening to our guest speaker talk about homeless ministry (The theme for tonight was helping the homeless.) So many kids! :) It is such a blessing to be able to be used by God in such a wonderful way as to teach kids His word.

B-ball and Crocheting 2-28-2011

So today was another b-ball day for my younger siblings. Packing lunches, getting uniforms together and off we go! So what do I do while my siblings are practicing for 4 hours?

Well, Sometimes I will bring my laptop, or sometimes I will do a bit of writing. But most of the time I bring my yarn and crochet. I can make many things from scarfs to afghans. Right now I am working on making an afghan made up of a bunch of squares with many different colors. Sort of like a quilt. Also, If I find a color combination that I really like, I might make a scarf out of it to wear around. :)

Water Drops and The 6th Sense 2-27-2011

On the way to church I have noticed this little water drop done in graffiti for a few weeks now so today I decided to take a picture of it. It is sad that someone with this much talent, who has so much potential, would waist it spray painting bridges and such...

Well, I just got done watching a movie called The 6th Sense with my dad and Robert...who then proceed to pick on me and try to scare me...its gonna be a long night... or so I thought. An unlikely friend was just talking to me for a bit and I really don't feel scared at all anymore. :)

Work and Horses 2-26-2011

Well, I have failed. I wasn't able to upload a picture/post last night...but that will NOT happen again!

Anyway...Yesterday I had work from 9-3 then I went over to horse sit for this family from our church. They have 4 horses and 4 dogs. I LOVE horses! lol And I Love any chance to help take care of these horses. :)

Crayfish! 2-25-2011

So look what I found at work!! He wasn't very happy about me taking his/her picture.. lol. :) It rained really really hard yesterday so the rain/flooding must have washed him up here. I picked him up using the dustpan to put him into the grass so he wouldn't get hurt and he had to be at least 3-4 pounds! It is amazing how God shows his creativity through animals.

Nana's B-day 2-24-2011

Well, tomorrow (well, its now after midnight again so i suppose i could say its today.) is my Nana's (mom's mom) birthday. So this evening after I got off work I stopped by and picked her up some flowers and brought them to her house. (the flowers were on sale because it is after v-day..Yay for sales!) Anyway, I brought her the flowers and then we went out and spent some time together over dinner.

My Little Sis 2-23-2011

So I am dedicating this post to my little sister Judy. She is amazing for a 10 year old. She means everything to me. I wanted a little sister for so long and then I ended up getting one (her) for my 9th birthday. :) I thank God for her every day and I pray that she will grow up to be a beautiful young woman in the Lord. She makes me happy even when I feel like the entire world is crashing down around me. I ♥ her.

Gym and Beautiful Sky 2-22-2011

Well, twas another beautiful day here in the grand state of Texas. I got up determined to start eating healthy and so I had an egg for breakfast (with a whole-grain slice of bread toasted) then went to the gym with my mom and dad.

Afterward my mom and dad went to get the camper so they can start packing up to go to state. I went out into the camper to hang out with Judy, my mom, and my nana (who was over for a visit) and when we loooked out the back window up at the sky look what we saw! Such beauty that God has created!

Basketball 2-21-2011

Today I went to basketball practice with my younger siblings and my mom. All 4 of my younger siblings are on the Dallas Thunder basketball team. They practice Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 hours! But its worth it to them. This week they have the Texas State and Regional Tournament! Sadly, I won't be able to go because I have work every day that they will be at state. But I will be praying for them in hopes that they will win! (And praying that they will be safe.)

Parks and (Nail) Polish 2-20-2011

So today was another beautiful day outside!

This morning I went to Church and when I got home did Judy's nails. She was so excited because I got this new stencil that does stars. After that we went to the park because how could we ever pass up such a beautiful day inside?! And! Some of the neighbor kids were there and I got to try riding a skateboard. Which I was pretty good at if I do say so myself. :)

Thunder Girl's spirit party. 2-19-2011

So today was SO BUSY! But wonderfully fun too! So it started off by my mom and I going to look at this place called the Ogle School of Hair, Skin, and Nails. Its a cosmetology school. I have been thinking about that more and more as I am trying to decide what to do after graduation.

Afterward we went to Sam's Club to get a few groceries and then it was off to the Thunder girls spirit party! We made t-shirts and posters for nationals and just had a blast with the other girls! Even though I am not officially on the basketball team, so I didn't have a poster to make (the posters will be hung up on the hotel doors when we go to nationals, more on that later).

I still am part of the Thunder family and love to help them out any way I can. And after helping some of the other girls make their posters and t-shirts, there were a few t-shirts left over so I could make one of my own to show off my Thunder pride!

After the party I got to watch the second half of the Junior Varsity girl's and then the Varsity guy's basketball games. (The Junior Varsity boys played while we were in the back making t-shirts and such so I didn't get to see that.)

Then it was off home and now time for bed. Good night. :)

Hair, BFFs, And Winter Jam 2-18-2011

Today was quite an amazing day. This morning I got up and Annikah and I went to have some girl time. I got highlights in my hair, and we went window shopping then out to lunch with some free coupons I had (Free is always wonderful! lol)

Then, this evening I went to WINTER JAM! with the Thunder Seniors. Which was an amazing concert with 10 Christian artists who were all spectacular.

Work, Sunset, Gym, Monk 2-17-2011

So today I had work Again...but now I am off until Wednesday! After work Annikah went with me to the gym (Robert and Luke came too). Then I came home and watched a bit of TV with the family. We have been watching this series called Monk (ITS A MUST SEE!) but tonight we watched the very last episode they will ever make. And while it was very sad, it was very good. Bittersweet. :) Well, off to bed now. Busy busy day tomorrow!

Workin' At The Carwash Yea! 2-16-2011

Well, maybe I wasn't working there, but that song sure goes with what happened this evening. I had work for most of the day. Then, when I got of work at 6 I went over to the church for youth group. After I decided that I would go through the carwash with Robert. It was kinda fun and didn't cost nearly as much $$ as I thought it would (yippie!)

Cooking and Kids 2-15-2011

So, today was pretty interesting. I got up wit a list of things to do and maybe got only half of them done, but I got a lot of things done that were not on my list as well.

Today I made Cake Balls for the first time with red velvet cake and they were simply scrumptious! Then I went on to make potato soup which was also very good if I do say so myself.

After that I went over to Sarah Gestler's house to talk and she painted my nails. ^.^ I drove her kids to AWANA which is a program at my church. Kind of like a bible club for kids. I am one of the leaders for the T-N-T class (Truth N Training, ages 8-12). I love those kids! They are always so into the Word, wanting to know more and more and never getting enough of what we have to teach them about the Bible. :)

Workin' All Day 2-14-2011

"Well, not much happened today." Wait?! What? How can anyone say that? Hundreds of thousands of amazing things happen every day of our lives if we just take the time to look at them. For example, today was BEAUTIFUL! Sunny with a high of 70! Last week it was snowing! The sunset on the drive home was Incredible! And I was able to spend the evening with my family. :)

So this morning during church it was my turn to watch all the preschoolers during children's church. By myself...Luckily I was able to get my sister Judy to help me out with them! Faithful To My Beloved 2-12-2011

So my mom and dad took me out to lunch today and gave me this ring. (This is just a picture off the internet of the same ring because I couldn't get a good pic of the one I have.) It is a purity ring that says "Faithful To My Beloved". Even though I may not know him yet...I am his forever and will be forever faithful and stay pure for him.

So after we had lunch I went with my mom to get her hair done and I am now considering getting highlights? Hmm...we shall see.

Ice Skating! 2-11-2011

Today was so much fun! I had work from 9-1 but after that me and a bunch of my friends went ice-skating to kind of celebrate my birthday. I am so thankful to have such amazing friends!

Today my mom came to have lunch with me during my break at work. We were going to go to subway because i had a coupon but..ALL THE SUBWAYS IN TERRELL WERE CLOSED TODAY! Seriously?! They were just open last week! Oh well...at least we got to go to Braums and spend some time together! :) I ♥ My Mom!

Annikah came over to my house today and we hung out! We took the dogs for a walk to the park but it was way to cold to stay long! lol. Love my BFF!♥
